I feel like the price list in product photography I feel like the price list in product photography varies from zero to several zeros in a raw😉Why does it look like this?From my experience while working as freelancer, than in marketing agency and finally as a creative business owner, I can say that only from YOU.Of course no😅 The market matters. This is logical and obvious issue: the more of the same services on the market, the harder to keep the price.There is a flood of photographers right now offering different skills and values. So potential customer can be lost in all the offers.If this is general client, who doesn't really know what is the purpose of shooting, he will often choose the offer based on the lower price🤷‍♀️ Because he can get A LOT of such offers.Once I was on exhibition talking to a guy about photography for brands and he told me, that he doesn't understand why should he pay for images if he has a query of applicants to work just for products😬 Ooops.. We do not talk about the quality of these images and even the quality of collaboration. The point is how the market looks like.Positive conclusion?😅 Do not work for low prices. Never. Even at the beginning count how much hours you work from mailing till sending the finished images.There are clients who have budgets and know why your services cost that much.Do not rival with market offering low prices. Instead of such projects better work on your portfolio to charge more😉Let me know what do you think👇
Gear vs skills: what is important in professional Gear vs skills: what is important in professional photography? 👇Actually both😅But...Camera, light, lenses ect. can't guarantee the best result if photographer do not know how to achieve it. Sometimes in the announcements where people are looking for a photographer I see how they mislead professionals with the best gear.I have professional equipment for my sessions, but I took me longer to understand why I need it😄You can have the best camera and lamps but what the point if you do not realize the rough surface needs lighting from a smooth one🤷‍♀️What do you think?
